Bothwell Landscape Studio is hiring!

Positions: Landscape Designer/Architect, 2-6 years

Bothwell Landscape Studio creates contextually modern, crafted landscapes inspired by the Pacific Northwest. We value the design process and work collaboratively with architects and within the studio to produce thoughtful, beautiful projects that connect people with their immediate and broader surroundings. Our studio is in Southeast Portland (moving to the Northeast in April), and our projects are in Portland metropolitan area, Hood River and Seattle. We currently focus on large-scale remodel residential and multi-acre development projects. Please see our website www.blstudio.la for more information. This is an in-office position.

We have one opening for a landscape designer.

Required Skills:

·Strong design skills from concept through implementation

·Experience and ability to extend/expand conceptual basis of design through all project phases and design detailing

·Experience in project management including internal and external communication and scheduling with clients, subconsultants and staff

·Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·Excellent organizational skills

·Strong technical skills including hand drawing and graphics

·Knowledge of construction detailing and how things are built

·Passion, enthusiasm, good listening skills and an ability to work collaboratively

·Expertise in AutoCAD, Adobe Suites, MS Office, SketchUp.  Land F/X and Lumion or other rendering software experience a plus

Education Requirements: Bachelor or master’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited program. Master’s degree preferred.
